The room is designed for spoken-word production: acoustic treatment to control room reflections, professional condenser microphones, pop filters and articulating mic arms, an audio interface and mixer for multi-track recording, studio-quality monitoring headphones, soundproofed booth, and high-speed internet for live streaming. Most bookings are weekly or biweekly hosts producing audio podcasts, but the room also supports video podcasting, audio book recording, voice-over work, and remote-guest interviews.
